In summary, the sequel to Smile 1 tells the story of Skye Riley (Naomi Scott), a famous pop star who is going on a world tour. However, this world tour goes like a nightmare for the idol.It starts with a creepy and mysterious incident experienced by his partner, Lewis (Lukas Cage). He suddenly gets hysterical seeing something invisible, then his face turns into a scary smile while hurting himself.Since that incident, Skye Riley has always been haunted by a mysterious figure who always smiles at her. The figure continues to follow her, including when she is on a world tour.

Smile 2 Release Date

The release date for Smile 2 is set for October 18, 2024. This means that the sequel to Smile will arrive around two years after the original, and like the first film, it will also have a theatrical release. While there's no word on when it will be available to stream, it's expected that Smile 2 will also make its way to Paramount+.

Smile 2 Cast

Due to the ending of Smile, it was always assumed that Sosie Bacon's Rose would not be seen again, but there are still plenty of actors who could return. Kyle Gallner, who plays Rose's detective ex-boyfriend Joel, has already been confirmed as part of the sequel's cast, while Jesse T. Usher as Trevor and Gillian Zinser as Holly could also both return.
